Northlight Innovations LLC ("Northlight," "we," "us") built this page to be plain about the one thing we ask for on this site: your email address, for the waitlist.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. If you email us directly, we'll also have whatever you choose to include in that message.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — things like which pages get visited, how people arrived here, and general device/location information (like "mobile, from Texas"). This is aggregate usage data, not tied to your name or email address.
How we use it
We use your email address to send you Northlight product updates, launch announcements, and early-access details. We don't send anything else, and we don't sell or trade your email address to anyone.
Joining the waitlist takes effect immediately — we don't require you to click a confirmation link in a follow-up email before you're added.
Who processes it
We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) as our email service provider to store the waitlist and send emails. Kit processes your email address on our behalf under its own Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic, under Google's own Privacy Policy. We don't use any other third-party service to collect or process information on this site.
Cookies and tracking
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish you from other visitors across sessions. These cookies don't identify you personally — they're used only to measure things like page views and traffic sources.
You can opt out at any time by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using your browser's tracking-prevention or "do not track" settings.
Your rights and choices
- Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link — one click removes you from the list.
- You can also email us at hello@northlightinnovation.com to ask what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted entirely.
- If you're located in the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under GDPR — including the right of access, correction, and erasure ("right to be forgotten") — which we'll honor the same way, by request to the email above.
Children's privacy
Northlight is a product for parents and caregivers. This site and its waitlist are intended for use by adults, not by children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we collect or use your information, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
